Velte Forestry and Arboriculture is a small forestry and tree care company based in Boulder, Colorado. We care deeply about trees and forests, striving to do everything we can to keep them healthy and thriving within the complex and dynamic environment that exists throughout the state of Colorado. What separates us from your standard tree care company? WE are both certified arborists and certified foresters. This means that we are not only able to properly care for your trees within the urban landscape, but our skills and experience lend us to developing plans and strategies to manage your forests on a landscape level. Whether you have questions about a single tree or an entire forest, we have the expertise to answer your questions in order to promote healthy and vibrant trees and forests.

Paul velte, owner and operator

Paul has been working as a forester and arborist in the intermountain west for the past 12 years. He is an ISA certified arborist and a certified forester through the Society of American Foresters. With a B.S. in Forestry from the University of Vermont, a Masters degree in Natural Resources from Utah State University, and with thousands of hours tackling a variety of tree and landscape issues, he has developed a wide comprehensive skillset that can help him complete any job efficiently with the highest of standards. His dedication to the proper management of trees and forests is not static, however, Paul has committed himself to continuing education so that he can provide his clients with proper recommendations.
